During summer, the Villach region comes alive with the sounds of the Carinthian Summer music festival. Every year, music lovers can see world-renowned soloists, conductors, and musical groups perform on the shores of Lake Ossiach. The Carinthian Summer has become a top event of the Austrian cultural calendar and one of the most famous music festivals in the country. For more than 40 years, It has been bringing the best in classical, jazz, and crossover music to Austria. Every year, lake Faakersee transforms into Harley village as more than 100,000 motorcyclists come to Carinthia for this large motorcycle rally.
